Packaging Première & PCD Milan brings together the people creating packaging for fashion, cosmetics, perfume, wine, drinks and premium food. Packaging is considered part of a product: its material, shape, technology and way of communicating a brand. Designers, brand teams and specialists selecting suppliers will find particular reasons to visit.
The event takes place on 18–20 May 2027 in the Central Hall at Allianz MiCo, Milan. This city congress venue is a different location from the Fiera Milano Rho exhibition complex.
What to look for
Professional interest begins with details: how a material feels, how a structure works and what a design is intended to achieve. Manufacturers, brands and creative teams meet at the fair, making it possible to discuss a project with people who can propose a technical or design solution.
The organiser highlights several ways to explore the industry. Discovery Zone focuses on new companies, materials and technologies. Art Gallery adds an artistic perspective, while the Avant-Garde award draws attention to new packaging approaches. These sections describe a format; they do not establish the still-unannounced participants of the next edition.
The exhibition’s interest lies in bringing craft and technology together. One visitor may want to express a perfume’s character more effectively; another seeks a material or structure for a new product. Define your task before arriving to make stand conversations more useful than a general tour of every offer.
Professional admission and registration
The event is for industry professionals and requires registration. On the verification date, the organiser offers a register-your-interest form for notification when tickets become available. Submitting that form is not the same as receiving an admission pass.
The dates and Allianz MiCo Central Hall are confirmed on the official Packaging Première landing page. Choose speakers and conference details after the 2027 programme is published. Material from the 2026 stages illustrates the event’s subjects rather than promising the same speakers will return.
Travelling to the fair
If staying in Milan, you can discuss a hotel-to-Allianz MiCo transfer with Hola Taxi. Give your accommodation address, date and party size. A team should decide whether everyone returns together or has different meetings afterwards.
For travel after a flight, specify MXP, LIN or BGY and choose the destination: hotel or venue. Plan the return from MiCo around your meetings and selected talks once the programme is known.
