Salone del Mobile.Milano offers a reason to visit Milan for furniture, materials and ideas about the changing home. See design in person: its scale, proportions, combinations and possible uses. Professionals can explore new offers, while interior enthusiasts discover solutions that might otherwise remain only photographs.
The fair takes place on 13–18 April 2027 at Fiera Milano Rho. The general public is admitted on 17 and 18 April. If you are visiting without professional status, use those dates as the basis of your plans.
What to discover
Furniture and solutions for different living spaces are central to Salone, from bedrooms and living rooms to dining areas and outdoor settings. The organiser describes a place to discover prototypes, new materials and changes in how people live. Your interest can be specific: storage, the changing shape of an armchair or how an object works with its surroundings.
You do not have to organise the visit solely around famous brands. Choose a subject, such as dining rooms or outdoor furniture, and compare different approaches. If there are too many ideas, leave time to look again: a solution can become clearer after seeing neighbouring displays.
For a professional, the fair combines introductions to companies with project discussions. A meeting address in Milan and a hall in Rho are separate destinations. Design-week events around the city also have their own venues and rules; a Salone ticket should not be treated as admission to all of them.
Choosing a day and ticket
Trade visitors can attend on 13–18 April. The organiser specifies 16–18 April for furniture-sector suppliers and manufacturers, and the same three days for students. Public days are 17–18 April. Check the appropriate category and requirements in the visitor information.
The complex is at Strada Statale del Sempione 28, Rho. Use the plan and exhibitor list for the 2027 edition: the Salone page also retains material from the previous year.
Travelling to Salone
You can discuss a hotel-to-Rho transfer with Hola Taxi, giving your address, date and party size. If continuing to another meeting, include its address separately. For a flight arrival, specify MXP, LIN or BGY and whether you need to visit your hotel first. Choose the return around your plans for the exhibition day.
