World Future Energy Summit is a trade exhibition and conference platform focused on clean energy and sustainable development. Technology developers, investors, energy companies and public-sector representatives come together here. For visitors, the appeal is being able to compare solutions and understand their application in real projects, beyond reading about a new technology.

The 2027 edition takes place on 12–14 January at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. WFES forms part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, while remaining a separate event with its own exhibition and admission arrangements. Registering for one part of the week does not automatically provide access to the others.
What to explore
The organiser highlights renewable energy, decarbonisation, climate technologies and infrastructure for a sustainable future. Exhibits sit alongside discussions and opportunities to meet industry colleagues. Some visitors will focus on equipment and practical comparisons; others will be more interested in projects, investment and public policy.
Start with your own objective. You might build the day around energy infrastructure, explore solutions for reducing emissions or set aside time to meet companies in a particular field. A shortlist of exhibitors and sessions helps keep the day manageable and leaves room for worthwhile conversations.
Visiting and registration
The official FAQs describe the exhibition as a trade event for visitors aged 18 and over. Registration is required. Check the current conditions and programme before travelling, particularly if you have a specific discussion in mind or are coming with colleagues from different disciplines.
Check the venue and timing of each Sustainability Week event you want to attend. If stands and technologies are your priority, begin with WFES; for wider international discussions and specialist forums, explore the relevant events elsewhere in the week. This makes it easier to choose a trip around your interests.

Getting to the exhibition
You can travel from your Abu Dhabi hotel or from Dubai, with a return journey planned around your meetings. In your Hola Taxi enquiry, include the date, starting address and passenger count. If you are arriving at DXB, explain whether you intend to continue to Abu Dhabi or check into your accommodation first. The route and feasibility can then be discussed for your particular trip.
