Intersec Global explores security and safety, from surveillance and building protection to cyber threats, fire equipment and emergency services. It connects technologies often considered separately but which need to work together in a real incident. The 2027 edition runs on 12–14 January at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
This is a professional event for security managers, systems integrators, engineers, and specialists in fire protection and digital infrastructure. If you are selecting a system for a site or responsible for operating it, you can explore solutions from related fields and put questions to their developers.

Five connected sectors
Intersec has five main sectors. National security and law enforcement covers borders, infrastructure and public order. Cybersecurity addresses networks, cloud services, data and responses to digital incidents. Physical security includes surveillance, access control, perimeter protection and integration of building systems.
The remaining two sectors focus on fire protection and emergency response, and safety and wellbeing at work. Together they help visitors see a fuller picture: how a building's systems connect with a control room and the actions of a response team, for example.
Before travelling, choose the problems that matter most to your work. An integrator might ask about system compatibility, a site representative about day-to-day operation, and an engineer about equipment capabilities. This helps you find a focus within the broad subject of security.
Demonstrations and discussions
The 2027 programme includes Control Room Live and Code Zero: Gridlock. The first introduces the work of a control centre: its technology, processes and operator decisions. The second uses a scenario involving a city in crisis to demonstrate the role of coordination, technology and decision-making.
Alongside the exhibition, the website lists conferences on security systems integration, cybersecurity, fire response and occupational safety. Choose sessions relevant to your specialism; they may help you ask exhibitors more specific questions. Check access requirements for each conference when registering.

Who should attend?
Intersec is an event for professionals aged 18 and over, rather than a family entertainment exhibition. Visit with a business purpose: assessing technology, finding a partner or exploring an unfamiliar part of the industry.
If you are travelling with colleagues, decide which themes to explore together and which to divide between specialists. Leave time to discuss the results, compare impressions of products and decide what to ask the next day.
Transport during the exhibition
Your team may want to leave the hotel together in the morning but have different evening plans. Mention this when discussing a transfer with Hola Taxi: include dates, group size, hotel and the journeys you have in mind. You can discuss the return from the exhibition in the same enquiry.
For your arrival journey from Dubai International Airport, see the DXB transfers section. Choose a walk or attraction for a day off, and find other business dates in our Dubai events guide.
