World Health Expo Dubai, formerly known as Arab Health, focuses on healthcare technology and business. It brings together clinic and laboratory professionals, buyers, medical product manufacturers and developers of new solutions. In 2027, WHX runs on 25–28 January across two exhibition centres: DEC and DWTC.
The scope extends beyond medical equipment to diagnostics, rehabilitation, laboratory work, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and digital services. A visit may help with equipping a hospital, finding a laboratory solution or understanding changes in the delivery of healthcare.
What to explore at DEC
At Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, the organiser places medical equipment and devices, information systems, imaging and diagnostics, orthopaedics and rehabilitation, and healthcare infrastructure.
Clinic professionals, healthcare executives and people selecting technology for their facilities should explore this part of the programme. Announced formats include Visionary Stage, Care Delivery Stage and Radiology Stage. Their names indicate their focus: the broader outlook, delivery of care and radiology.
If you are visiting for a specific procurement project, start with your facility's requirements rather than trying to cover the whole exhibition. You could identify diagnostics, rehabilitation and digital systems as separate priorities. This makes it easier to compare offers and divide your time between technical discussions and business meetings.
What is at DWTC?
Dubai World Trade Centre covers laboratories, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, health and longevity, and medical devices and consumables. Its programme includes two stages for laboratory professionals and Healthspan Stage, focusing on health and longevity.
DWTC may be particularly relevant to laboratory specialists, pharmaceutical companies and visitors following biotechnology. This division does not mean that all medical equipment is exclusively at DEC: similar categories may appear at both venues. Make your final choice according to the companies and sessions that interest you.
WHX Tech and other events during the week
The organiser brings WHX together with other formats under World Healthcare Week. WHX Tech is scheduled for 26–28 January at DWTC, and WHX Leaders for 26 January at the same venue, by invitation. This matters if digital healthcare or an executive programme is your main reason for attending: these events have their own participation requirements.
Build your programme around your role. A buyer needs a list of companies and products; a clinician may focus on clinical fields; an executive may have questions about development and organisation. Visiting both venues makes sense if each has meetings you need, rather than simply to tick them off a list.
Transport during WHX
