Abu Dhabi Comedy Season brings performances by different comedians under one name. Choose an individual artist and their own show for an evening of live stand-up. It is an easy way to add comedy to an Abu Dhabi holiday while leaving the rest of your stay for other interests.
The organiser confirms the season’s third edition, with a programme at Etihad Arena. We have selected six announced upcoming performances, from 25 October 2026 to 31 January 2027. Keep an eye on the Comedy Season listings for further names.
Who to see in autumn
Russell Peters performs on 25 October. His official announcement highlights observations on culture, family and relationships, a quick pace and interaction with the crowd. He is an option for audiences who enjoy a comedian reacting directly to people in the room.
On 6 November comes Mo Amer, also known for the series Mo. His stand-up description mentions family stories, culture and everyday life. Maz Jobrani follows on 7 November, with everyday observations, family and cultural differences among his themes too. Listening to each performer’s work can help you choose between those similar descriptions.
January evenings
Kevin Bridges brings Here If You Need Me on 9 January 2027. Official pages announce Whitney Cummings and Paul Smith for 31 January. They are separate shows: check each artist’s specific session. Smith’s HAPPY is announced with life stories and audience interaction. Choose the performer, check their start time and buy a ticket for that show.
Before buying, watch available official performance clips and check the show language: understanding the jokes will shape your evening. The venue lists these shows as 16+; check accompaniment rules and restrictions on your selected event’s page.
A trip for one evening
All the selected performances are announced at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. Choose the artist, date and time, then plan the journey. Some shows have special rules for phone use, so agree beforehand where to meet your group afterwards.
Discuss your trip with Hola Taxi to the chosen show from your Abu Dhabi hotel or from Dubai, including the return. Give the artist, date, passenger count and departure point. If your journey starts with a flight, you can separately discuss meeting at the airport and travelling to your hotel.
