The Harry Potter Film Concert Series brings two chapters of Harry’s story back to the big screen, with their music performed in the concert hall. On 5–6 February 2027, Etihad Arena will screen the films while the UAE National Orchestra plays the score live. It is a chance to revisit familiar films and pay closer attention to music that usually sits behind the action.

The two evenings feature different films: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on 5 February, followed by Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on 6 February. Each screening has its own ticket. If you would like to see both, set aside two evenings.
Which musical chapter appeals to you?
In Prisoner of Azkaban, John Williams’s music accompanies the story’s darker atmosphere, the Dementors and the flight on Buckbeak. Part of the pleasure is noticing how the orchestra builds tension or creates a sense of freedom in a scene you already know.
Goblet of Fire has a score by Patrick Doyle. The Triwizard Tournament and the Yule Ball bring a different musical character. If you are travelling with fellow fans, discuss both your favourite film and whether you would most like to hear Williams’s familiar themes or explore another musical chapter in the series.
The orchestra follows the action on screen, aligning musical accents with movement and turns in the story. You can watch the film while observing how the musicians create its atmosphere live.

Dates and a family visit
Both screenings take place at Etihad Arena on Yas Island: Prisoner of Azkaban on 5 February and Goblet of Fire on 6 February. The announced start time at the date of checking is 7:30 pm; check it against your ticket before leaving. Children under six are not admitted. Check the film language and other attendance conditions when planning a visit with children.
Discuss your journey with Hola Taxi to the chosen film concert from your Abu Dhabi hotel or from Dubai, including the return. Share the film, date, passenger count and departure point. If you are flying into the Emirates first, you can separately discuss meeting at the airport and travelling to your hotel.
