Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open is a women’s WTA 500 tournament played outdoors at the International Tennis Centre in Zayed Sports City. It offers a way to add professional tennis to an Abu Dhabi trip: watch singles matches, discover doubles and follow the draw as the tournament progresses.

The organiser announces a programme running from 30 January to 6 February 2027, including an opening weekend with qualifying. The WTA calendar lists the main week as 31 January–6 February. These are parts of the same programme; choose your day around the stage you want to see.
What makes a tennis trip appealing
There are several ways to follow the tournament. Support one player, follow a doubles pair or arrive without a favourite and choose a match from the daily schedule. For a first visit, look at how the singles and doubles draws work, then decide whether to spend one day at the courts or watch several rounds.
The tournament website also describes Mubadala Village, with interactive activities, stage entertainment and food. This gives a mixed group more to enjoy, even when some people are less interested in tennis. Check the village programme and opening hours closer to the event, along with the conditions of your chosen ticket.
Choosing a day
Build your plans around the confirmed 2027 field and order of play, published by the organiser. Players from a previous edition may have different plans this time. Decide between the early rounds and the closing stages before booking other activities, so the trip has a comfortable rhythm.
The International Tennis Centre is in Zayed Sports City. Other sporting venues also use the Mubadala name, so keep the tennis centre’s full name in your itinerary. Check the date of your visit and your ticket details again before setting off.
