Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera is a musical story of talent, obsession and love, set in the world of the Paris Opera. The production comes to Abu Dhabi for the first time from 10 to 28 March 2027, at Etihad Arena. It is a choice for a complete evening of theatre, with music and drama unfolding together.

At the centre is the young singer Christine Daaé and a masked man who lives beneath the theatre. He helps her voice develop, but his fascination becomes a threat to her and those around her.
Why see the production?
You can choose the musical as a first encounter with the work or to revisit a familiar story performed live. The pleasure comes from following the characters over the course of the evening: what initially appears to be support gradually takes on a different meaning.
If you are going with friends or family, discuss your expectations beforehand. The romantic image on the poster is only one side of a story with darker themes. For a family visit, consider the plot as well as the age rules when deciding whether the show is suitable.

Choosing a date
The Abu Dhabi run is 10–28 March at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. Choose a specific date and performance through the official ticket sale. The venue page states that children aged five and under are not admitted; check the current conditions before buying.
Leave enough time before the show begins. A relaxed evening gives you space to enjoy the performance without arriving straight from another tightly scheduled activity.
Discuss your journey with Hola Taxi to the chosen performance from your Abu Dhabi hotel or from Dubai, including the return. Share the date, time, passenger count and departure point. If your holiday starts with a flight, you can separately discuss meeting at the airport and travelling to your hotel.
