Aquaventure World on Palm Jumeirah is for a day in the water: riding slides, alternating action with rest and heading to the beach. Beside Atlantis, The Palm, the waterpark can be a full family day out rather than a brief stop on an island tour.
Visitors come for thrills and time together with children. The waterpark has different types of slides, family water activities and children's Splashers areas. First decide what your group wants: more rides, more children's play or relaxed breaks by the water.

What makes it interesting?
Slides are grouped around the Neptune, Poseidon and Trident towers. These form the active part of the day, with rides of varying intensity and specific restrictions to consider. One well-known slide is Leap of Faith, descending through a transparent tube in a lagoon with sharks and rays. It is for thrill-seekers, rather than an essential part of everyone's visit.
Younger visitors have Splashers, with smaller slides, water play areas and shallow pools. Adults must accompany children; a children's area does not mean every ride is suitable for a child's height and age.
The beach offers a change of pace after the slides. With mixed interests in your group, avoid competing over the number of rides. Spend part of the day on each person's favourites, then meet to relax. Both active visitors and those who prefer the sea can enjoy their day on the island.
Choosing your visit
Aquaventure World includes more than the waterpark: the operator also offers The Lost World Aquarium. Combination options cover both attractions. Choose what you actually want to see and check ticket inclusions on the operator's website.
Individual slides have height, weight and health restrictions. Check these in advance, especially if a child is hoping for a particular ride. Also check towels, lockers and extra experiences in the terms of your chosen product.

What to bring for a day in the water
Bring swimwear and sun protection, and check the operator's clothing rules. Water shoes may be useful between attractions. After the rides, you can relax on the beach and have a meal. Then decide whether to spend the whole day at the waterpark or save energy for an evening elsewhere.
For island views from above, consider The View at The Palm on a separate outing. For animals without waterslides, there is Dubai Aquarium in Downtown.
From your hotel and back
Families and groups can discuss an Aquaventure transfer and return journey with Hola Taxi in advance. Include your hotel address, date and passenger numbers. Allow time to change and gather your belongings after the final slide when planning the return.
