The View at The Palm is an observation deck overlooking Palm Jumeirah's famous shape: its trunk, spreading fronds and surrounding crescent. From the island itself, it is hard to grasp the whole design; from above, it becomes the centrepiece of the panorama.
The main deck is on level 52 of The Palm Tower, 240 metres above sea level. Its panoramic view takes in the island, the gulf and the skyline. Choose it if Palm Jumeirah itself interests you: its design, scale and place on Dubai's map.
Discovering the island
The visit begins with Palm Jumeirah Exhibition. This interactive display explores the island's creation and helps explain the engineering behind its unusual form. A high-speed lift then takes visitors up to the view.
Level 52 has an outdoor terrace. Study the island's geometry, find familiar buildings and photograph the gulf. The operator identifies Burj Al Arab, Atlantis The Royal and Ain Dubai in the panorama. As with any observation deck, visibility depends on the weather; avoid choosing a visit solely to see one distant landmark.
Do not rush to take all your photographs at once. Walk around the deck first, compare the view with a map and then choose your favourite angle. This can be especially interesting if you have already explored Palm Jumeirah at ground level.
Level 52 or 54?
The Next Level is a separate experience on level 54, at 250 metres. It is not automatically included in every The View ticket. Compare the levels and services listed in each offer, rather than choosing by its name alone.

What to combine with your visit
The Palm Tower connects with Palm Jumeirah Mall, where you could shop or have lunch after going up. For another day on the island, consider Aquaventure World; for waterfront walking, explore Dubai Marina and JBR.
If your itinerary is already busy, let the observation deck be an experience in its own right. You do not need to add another tower on the same day: Burj Khalifa shows the city from another angle and deserves its own time.
Travelling to The View
If you want to travel from your hotel together and return afterwards or stay for dinner, discuss your plans with Hola Taxi. Specify The View at The Palm, date, passenger numbers and hotel address. Once you have chosen a ticket, allow time to walk through the shopping complex before your visit starts.
