Global Village is a seasonal park where a walk between country pavilions becomes an evening of shopping, street food and performances. Try unfamiliar dishes, admire colourful façades, look for souvenirs and choose activities for children. Come for the variety rather than a single main exhibit.
Season 31 began on 14 October 2026 and is announced to run until May 2027. The precise closing day had not been announced on the fact-check date. If planning a May visit, check operating dates on the park's website.

Pavilions, food and small discoveries
The country and regional pavilions are central to the experience. Their architecture, goods and cultural programmes let you move between themes without lengthy journeys. For example, the operator's description of the Bahrain pavilion highlights maritime heritage, craft traditions and the scent of oud, while Americas brings together images and cultures from North and South America.
Food is a reason to visit in its own right. There are restaurants, cafés and street food across the site. Instead of one large dinner, choose a few small dishes and turn the walk into your own tasting tour. In a group, let everyone choose something interesting to share as you discover different cuisines.
Beyond the pavilions
The programme includes stage and street performances, while Carnaval has rides and games. Arrange the evening your way: visit the pavilions that interest you, then watch a performance or leave children time for entertainment.
Before travelling, choose a few priorities: perhaps two cuisines to try, a pavilion for shopping and one performance. This gives your walk a direction while leaving room for chance discoveries. Check the official listings for your date; do not assume concerts and shows remain the same throughout the season.

Tickets and choosing a day
Park admission and individual activities are different things. Compare rides, special programmes and other extras against your ticket terms. The official website provides visitor information, a map and current rules.
Before travelling, check hours, programme and admission rules for your chosen day. Families might leave the evening open enough to avoid choosing between dinner and one last interesting pavilion.
For a different kind of walk, compare Global Village with Souk Madinat Jumeirah, where the emphasis is on shops, canals and restaurants. For a day of rides, consider MOTIONGATE Dubai.
Returning after your evening out
After walking, shopping and dinner, you may want to return as a group. You can discuss a hotel-to-Global Village trip and return with Hola Taxi in advance. Include your date, hotel address and passenger numbers; choose a return time once you have decided what to see at the park.
