Emirates Dubai 7s combines sporting competitions with a music festival. From 27 to 29 November 2026 at The Sevens Stadium, you can spend the day watching sport and stay for music in the evening. It is a reason to head out for a whole weekend with friends, even if not everyone is equally interested in rugby.
At its heart are rugby sevens and the international HSBC SVNS series. In sevens, each team has seven players on a full-size pitch, with seven-minute halves. Short matches mean you can see plenty of different encounters in a day. Other sports at the venue include cricket, netball, padel, Gaelic football and team fitness. Follow your favourite sport or get to know several at your own pace.
Music after the sport
In its latest announcement, dated 12 October, the organiser confirmed two Beats on 2 acts: Melanie C performs on 28 November and Jax Jones on 29 November. Melanie C is announced for a DJ set featuring house, techno, disco and club classics. Jax Jones will present a dance music programme.

Who might enjoy the festival?
We would recommend 7s for a group with different interests: some want sporting competition, others music and socialising. Decide which events to watch together and when to split up. That gives everyone more freedom without needing to follow one itinerary all day.
Families should check children's activities and ticket terms separately. If you are new to the sport, choose a few matches with breaks rather than trying to follow the whole programme. Buy a ticket for the day you actually want to attend.
Getting to The Sevens
The stadium is on Al Ain Road. Once you have chosen a day, discuss travel from your hotel to the festival and back. Say how many people are coming and whether you want to stay for the evening music. Your return time depends on the part of the programme you choose.
