Middle East Energy is an electricity industry exhibition for engineers, designers, contractors and procurement professionals. It follows electricity through generation, transmission, use and storage. The 2027 exhibition takes place on 11–13 May at Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), Expo City Dubai.
Come with a question related to your project: which equipment to consider, whom to discuss power supply with, or how to approach a system upgrade. You can explore technologies across the energy sector rather than focusing on a single catalogue component.

Four exhibition sectors
For 2027, the organiser identifies four sectors following the movement of energy in practice.
Generation. This covers electricity production technology, including primary and backup power. It is relevant to people responsible for energy sources and reliable supply.
Transmission & Distribution. Topics include grid equipment, switchgear, cables and digital management tools. This section serves people designing and maintaining electricity networks.
Efficiency. This brings together energy management, building automation, metering, lighting and climate control systems. Facilities professionals may find it useful when they need to use energy efficiently as well as obtain it.
Storage. Batteries and energy storage systems are the focus, helping match production with consumption and integrate renewable sources with electricity networks.
Choosing solutions to explore
Start with one sector, then look at an adjacent one. For example, explore storage alongside generation, or grid equipment alongside management tools. This helps you ask how solutions would work together.
Prepare a short project outline for your visit: what exists already, what needs to change and which technical constraints apply. Meetings are more useful when you can explain the task rather than simply request a general catalogue.
The homepage also announces professional conferences and specialist events on solar energy and storage. Choose sessions from the 2027 programme: the website still retains an overview of the completed 2026 edition as well.

The new venue: DEC
In 2027, Middle East Energy moves to Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai. If you have attended previous editions, bear this in mind when choosing accommodation and planning meetings: the old DWTC address is not appropriate for this trip.
Start with the official website for registration and the current programme. If your team covers different sectors, decide which meetings to attend together and when it will be more useful to compare findings afterwards.
Travelling from your hotel to the exhibition
If you want to travel with colleagues and return together after work, discuss a transfer with Hola Taxi. Specify Middle East Energy, DEC, Expo City Dubai, your attendance dates, passenger numbers and hotel. Add your arrival journey to the enquiry if needed.
For arrivals at Dubai International Airport, see the DXB transfers section. Our Dubai attractions can help you choose something to enjoy after the business programme.
