Partner application privacy notice

This notice explains how Hola Taxi handles applicant and partner data during review, activation, and support of an agency account.
Data controller: INSIGNIA STAR TOURISM L.L.C, registered in UAE under number 1203420, at BC AL MUTEENA PROJECT 2, Office - S 3-09, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Data we collect
We collect business name and type, legal name, country and city, contact name and role, business email and phone, website or another verification source, registration identifier, markets, destinations, expected volume, comments, consent versions, application status, and technical security events. The public form does not request bank or card details.
How data is used
Data is used to receive and review an application, prevent duplicates and fraud, communicate with the applicant, record a manual decision, activate and support an account, fulfil bookings, calculate commission, audit consent, protect the service, and meet legal duties.
Legal bases
We process data to take steps before and perform the partner relationship, comply with legal duties, and pursue legitimate interests in business verification, security, and abuse prevention. Optional programme news relies on separate consent that may be withdrawn.
Who may receive data
Access is limited to authorized Hola Taxi staff and reviewers and, where necessary, hosting, email and security providers, and professional advisers. Data may be disclosed to competent authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Hola Taxi operates internationally, so data may be processed where the company, infrastructure, partner, or service provider is located. We limit the information transferred and use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the recipient.
Retention
Active partner data is retained during the relationship and afterwards as needed for orders, reconciliation, disputes, and law. Rejected, withdrawn, and other terminal applications are scheduled for anonymization after 730 days unless longer retention is needed for security, a claim, or law. Audit evidence may remain without unnecessary contact data.
Marketing messages
Consent to programme news is separate from the required application privacy acknowledgment and is off by default. Opting out does not affect application review, service messages, security notices, or booking communication.
Security
Sensitive fields are encrypted, one-time links expire, plaintext tokens are not stored, reviewer actions are audited, and application access is restricted by a dedicated administrator permission.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, portability, restriction, objection, or deletion and may withdraw marketing consent. We may verify identity and retain information required by law or justified security needs.
Traveller data
After activation, the partner must have a lawful basis to provide traveller data for a booking and must tell travellers how Hola Taxi uses it. The general website Privacy Policy also applies to booking data.
Changes to this notice
The version accepted with an application is recorded by the system. A materially updated notice is published before use and, where required by law, presented for renewed acknowledgment.
