A sporting end to the year
B100 Cursa dels Nassos offers a way to end the year with a city race as well as a festive dinner. The mass-participation 10 km race takes place in Barcelona on 31 December 2026, organised by Ajuntament de Barcelona and La Sansi / Sportlife. For runners, it is a sporting goal on the final day of December; for companions, a chance to cheer someone on during a New Year trip.

Registered runners take on the ten-kilometre distance, while spectators can cheer them on and meet friends after the finish. A street race lets you see more than the leaders: different paces are part of the mass-participation experience. Plan the evening around your own role. Runners need time to prepare and recover; their companions need an agreed meeting place.
The race through Barcelona
The mass race starts and finishes on Carrer de Selva de Mar by Plaça Ramon Calsina. The organiser’s published route includes Passeig de Garcia Faria, Passeig Calvell and other city streets. Open the whole current map before visiting: recognising one street name does not necessarily help you choose a useful place to watch.
The first wave starts at 17:15, followed by further groups. Your position depends on the organiser’s conditions and your registration. The time of the first wave is not every runner’s individual start time.
The mass 10 km race and the international 5 km race are separate competitions. This article covers the ten-kilometre event. If you are running or supporting someone, choose information specifically about the mass 10 km race. Check the 2026 regulations and official registration channel; an event page does not establish that places remain available.

Fitting the race into your trip
Our editorial suggestion is to agree where to meet after the finish before planning the rest of New Year’s Eve. That helps you avoid trying to fit several plans into the same moment. The organiser may change the route and times for reasons set out in the rules, so check the latest announcements before leaving.
Plan the hotel-to-Selva de Mar journey and the trip after the race separately. If arriving at BCN, decide whether you are going from the airport to your hotel or to the event. Discuss your Cursa dels Nassos journey with Hola Taxi, giving your departure address and return plans. You can also explain your plans for the evening when discussing the journey after the finish.
