MWC Barcelona is a major professional gathering for connectivity and digital technology. Telecommunications, artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, devices and enterprise technology meet here. Running simultaneously in the same venue, 4YFN brings together startups, investors and companies looking for ideas and partners.
It makes sense to consider both when planning your trip while keeping their identities distinct. MWC provides a broad view of the technology industry and its major participants. 4YFN concentrates on founders, young companies, pitches and connections within the startup ecosystem. Your choice depends on whether you want to research a market, present a solution, meet partners or explore new directions.
Subjects to shape your visit
MWC’s announced 2027 themes include reinvented networks, AI in action, the autonomous enterprise, tomorrow’s AI, trust at scale and the next technological era. They offer different ways into the programme, from connectivity infrastructure and business products to security and digital services.
4YFN adds the entrepreneurial perspective. The organiser brings together startup founders, investors and corporate participants, with presentation and award formats. The new Connect Health programme links MWC and 4YFN around healthcare, technology and high-performance connectivity.
Before attending, decide which questions you need to investigate in person. Learning about a product, discussing a partnership and looking for startups call for different meetings. Choose several priorities and leave time to move between them. A programme name does not imply identical access to every format: check sessions, registration and your pass entitlements with the organiser.
Dates and destination
MWC Barcelona and 4YFN 2027 run on 1–4 March at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, Av. Joan Carles I, 64, 08908 L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. The organiser identifies the north entrance for 4YFN. Check your own registration details for the part of this large complex you will visit.
Transport during the exhibition
You can discuss a transfer with Hola Taxi from your hotel or another address to Gran Via. Include the event, date and pickup point. Describe arrival at Barcelona–El Prat, BCN, separately from exhibition visits. Discuss the return after choosing your professional programme: you may want to stay for further conversations after the main meetings or head back to your hotel.
