Smart City Expo World Congress is an international congress and exhibition about the everyday and long-term challenges facing cities. It brings together city representatives, businesses, researchers and entrepreneurs. The appeal is the chance to examine urban innovation through practical approaches and conversations with the people developing them.

Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress takes place alongside it on the same dates. Its own focus is how people and goods move: public transport, accessibility, walking, multimodal journeys, electrification and other aspects of urban mobility. You can plan a single business trip around both events while choosing the programme that matches your work.
What to explore
Smart City Expo combines exhibition stands with a congress programme. You can discover solutions presented by companies and cities, then compare their approaches in the discussions. This format is particularly relevant if you work with urban infrastructure, technology, public services or the development of places.
Tomorrow.Mobility adds a closer look at movement within the city. Your questions might concern public transport, accessible journeys, combining transport modes or technical solutions. Choosing a clear question beforehand helps you find a useful route through a broad professional programme.
For a first visit, select a few priorities and relate what you see to your own project. A city representative and a technology supplier can offer different perspectives on the same challenge. Both conversations become more useful when you know what you want to learn. Check the organisers’ current programmes for specific sessions, participants and access arrangements.
Dates and venue
Both events run on 3–5 November 2026 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, halls 2 and 3, Av. Joan Carles I, 64, 08908 L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
Gran Via is in a municipality neighbouring Barcelona and is separate from Fira Montjuïc. Check your registration category and programme: events taking place together do not necessarily provide identical access to every discussion or format.

Travelling to Gran Via
You can discuss a transfer with Hola Taxi from your hotel or another address. Give the date, event and pickup address. If your trip includes arrival at Barcelona–El Prat, BCN, describe that separately from the congress journey. Plan the return around your own meetings and the time you want to finish your visit.
