Gulfood Manufacturing explores how food and drinks are made. Its themes include ingredients, processing equipment, packaging, automation and supply chain management. For a food technologist, production manager or equipment supplier, it offers a chance to discuss several stages of the same production chain. The exhibition runs on 3–5 November 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
The range of tasks is part of its interest: from choosing components for a recipe to equipment that packs a product, checks its quality and prepares it for dispatch. A visit may be useful when launching a new production facility or looking for a solution for a particular part of an existing line.

What to look for on the exhibition floor
The official 2026 catalogue has an Ingredients section listing flavourings, enzymes, proteins, starches and sweeteners, among other categories. If you develop products, start with the category you need. That makes it easier to move from a general introduction to a discussion of formulations, samples and technical requirements.
Processing & Packaging covers processing and packaging. The catalogue includes equipment for filling and dosing, labelling, baking, cooling, and safety and quality control. Compare solutions for your own product: consider both a machine's capabilities and its role within the production process.
Automation & Control and Supply Chain have a different focus: robots, sensors, software control, warehouse systems and product movement. Include them in your visit if you are looking to connect production operations with stock management and logistics.
How it differs from Gulfood
The names are similar, but the purpose of a visit is different. Manufacturing focuses on how to make, package and deliver a product. Gulfood in March 2027 focuses on food and drinks themselves, their suppliers and international trade.
Choose the event around your business needs. A food manufacturer may want to discuss a filling line, while a retail buyer may be interested in a finished product range. If both are relevant, they involve separate trips in different months.

Preparing for meetings
Choose several suitable categories and companies in the catalogue, then prepare a technical brief for your discussions. When choosing packaging equipment, for example, describe the product, the desired packaging format and where the new machine would fit in the line. When sourcing an ingredient, explain the result you want to achieve in your formulation.
DWTC lists the exhibition as Trade Only — for professional visitors. Check registration and participation rules on the official website. If travelling as a team, divide meetings between the technologist, buyer and production representative, leaving time to discuss what you have seen together.
Transport for a business trip
Once you have settled your working programme, you can discuss trips from your hotel to the exhibition and back with Hola Taxi. Include the dates, number of travellers and where you are staying. If you have meetings elsewhere in the city after the exhibition, add them to your enquiry to discuss the whole day.
For arrivals at Dubai International Airport, see the DXB transfers section. If you are staying over the weekend, browse our Dubai attractions and add a walk or a day off to your business trip.
